L & S 7 : Building Poster (Ordinal Numbers)


Lesson : Listening and Speaking
Year : 5


In this lesson, I prepared a building poster to teach my students about ordinal numbers (1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on). The poster contains their names (which can be replaced with each other) to test the students' understanding about ordinal numbers. This activity also give the chances for the students to speak, and the teachers could related questions to check their further understanding. The names can be removed and replaced since I just slipped it in the spaces provided.

The activity is to remove and replace the names in any levels to test students' understanding of the ordinal numbers concept and how to read it. From the feedback, the students were able to get the content and concept very well based on this activity.
