LA 3 : Finger Puppets Headbands

Lesson : Language Arts
Year : 1, 2, 3

In this lesson, I've prepared the students with finger puppets sheets where they have to cut and colour them. I also played a video clip (Finger Puppets song). This activity was conducted a bit different since I asked the students to paste the finger puppets on their headbands.

Since the activity was done in groups, each member of the group took a role and pasted their finger puppet on a headband given. Then, they performed the song in their respective groups.

A video of this activity is uploaded as follows :

  1. Simply cut the manila card into strips (the width of the strips based on your own preferences).
  2. Cut the finger puppet character that has been coloured.
  3. Paste it on the headband.
  4. Make a hole at the end of the manila card strip to tie the string.
