L & S 17 : Listen & Hang

Skill : Listening
Year : 2
Topic : Get Dressed

Assalamualaikum and Hi!

Sorry for a bit late in updating new posts even though I've conducted plenty of activities. I'm just so busy with school, courses and other stuff. Well, this activity is a simple one, and of course can be conducted with your weaker students too! It is to recall their previous lesson about clothes.

So, let's start!

WHAT DO YOU NEED?

  • Pictures of clothes (I drew these just because I was so lazy to search for them online. You can simply photostate it and cut them. Then, put into envelopes according to groups).
  • Ropes (Tali rafia also can)
  • Clothespin (Bought one at Kaison)
  • Two pencils (To tie the ropes and later hang the pictures of clothes)

Simply put the pictures of clothes in the envelopes

HOW TO CONDUCT THIS?

  1. Introduce them with the names of clothes. You can refer to the Superminds textbook page 82. Make sure the clothes that you've introduced are the same as in the envelopes.
  2. Divide pupils in groups and give materials.
  3. Then, demonstrate on how to make a clothesline using pencils, and ropes.
  4. Provide them with envelopes.
  5. Start by saying out any cloth such as "Please hang the CAP". Pupils will try to recall and discuss with their peers which one is cap, and hang it.
  6. Repeat until they've finished the clothes.
  7. Make corrections to the groups that made mistakes.
  8. Done!

As usual, let's take a look at the photos of the event!

That's all. Thanks for reading! :)
